Which aircraft AD 49-12-02 applies to

The Ryan factory accomplished this change in production starting with airplane Serial Number 1823, painting undrilled vent plugs with zinc chromate primer.
Whether AD 49-12-02 actually applies to your aircraft (by serial and installed parts) and whether it’s already complied with comes from that aircraft’s records.
How AD compliance is recorded

Look up a tail number →Applicability is derived from the FAA directive corpus and is advisory, not a legal airworthiness determination. Compliance is established only from an aircraft’s actual records.
