Airworthiness Directives; Dassault Aviation Airplanes

What this AD requires

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Dassault Aviation Model FALCON 7X airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of defects on the piston hole associated with the O<INF>2</INF> saver feature that may prevent efficient deactivation of the O<INF>2</INF> saver function. This AD requires amending the existing airplane flight manual (AFM) to incorporate a check and an operating limitation regarding the O<INF>2</INF> saver function, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. This AD also limits the installation of affected parts under certain conditions. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Note 1 to paragraph (c): FALCON 7X airplanes with Dassault modification M1000 incorporated are commonly referred to as 'FALCON 8X' as a marketing designation but remain within this AD's applicability.

Whether AD 2021-19-20 actually applies to your aircraft (by serial and installed parts) and whether it’s already complied with comes from that aircraft’s records.

How AD compliance is recorded

A valid compliance record (14 CFR 43.9) states:

Method of complianceThe specific action taken (inspected, replaced, modified) and to what revision.
DateWhen the work was done.
Aircraft timeTotal time in service / tach at compliance — how recurring next-due is computed.
Signature & certificateThe A&P/IA who returned it to service, with certificate number.
Is AD 2021-19-20 complied with on your aircraft?

Tailplate reads a tail number’s logbooks and matches every applicable AD — including this one — to its compliance evidence, with recurring next-due dates computed.

Applicability is derived from the FAA directive corpus and is advisory, not a legal airworthiness determination. Compliance is established only from an aircraft’s actual records.
