What this AD requires

We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (Airbus Helicopters) Model MBB-BK 117 C-2 and MBB-BK 117 D-2 helicopters. This AD requires altering and re- identifying the overhead panel shock mount assembly (shock mount). This AD was prompted by the manufacturer's stress recalculations.
