What this AD requires

We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Model ATR42 and ATR72 airplanes. This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) originated by an aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product. Manufacturer serial number (MSN) range up to MSN 643 applies to ATR42 models; MSN range up to MSN 728 applies to ATR72 models.

Method of compliance — The specific action taken (inspected, replaced, modified) and to what revision.

Signature & certificate — The A&P/IA who returned it to service, with certificate number.
